Masisa Argentina presents its new melamine designs at Fitecma

ARGENTINA – At the Fitecma fair held from June 13 to 17 at the Centro Costa Salguero in Buenos Aires, Masisa presented to the Argentine market its new Elementos collection, eight new melamine designs that expand the Esencia and Materia lines.

These innovative proposals, in line with international design trends, are inspired by new materials and elements of nature.

The portfolio of melamine designs 2017 includes:

Materia Line

  • Santorini: the perfect combination of delicacy and rusticity. A light wood that gives freshness to the environment and is easily combinable with other colors and materials.
  • Honey oak: it is a wood design that provides brightness to the environment, with a natural tone in the range of light browns.
  • Carrara: A sophisticated alternative, to combine with different materials. This innovative proposal allows the incorporation of the elegance of marble in versatile surfaces.
  • Oxide: a design in the range of coppery brown, industrial reminiscence. Ideal for environments with personality.
  • Ramio: a proposal that combines the warmth and rusticity of the textile. It is available in 3 shades Silver, Sepia and Coffee adding variety to the portfolio that already has the Tweed and Lino designs.

Essence Line

  • Tortona: it is a dark wood of the walnut family, which brings elegance and sobriety to modern environments.

In addition Masisa introduced a new high strength melamine for use in horizontal planes, such as dry countertops, desks, etc. It is an MDF board of 25mm of thickness with melamine surface in both faces, resistant to the humidity and with greater resistance to abrasion than the traditional melamine. It is available in the Enigma, Natural Oak, Nebraska, Tortona, Carrara, Metropolitan Concrete and Oxide designs.

Masisa Argentina operates an industrial plant in the city of Concordia where it produces MDF, particleboard, melamine and moldings. All the company’s products are E1 certified. Masisa’s pine moldings and boards are FSC chain of custody certified.
