GERMANY –  Homann Holzwerkstoffe GmbH, a leading European supplier of thin, refined wood fiberboards (THDF), reported solid financial results for 2024, with revenue rising to EUR 369.9 million, exceeding forecasts by EUR 15.4 million.

Despite market pressures and a delayed plant launch in Lithuania, adjusted EBITDA reached EUR 56.3 million, in line with expectations. Net profit, however, fell to EUR 14.2 million (from EUR 23.7M in 2023).

The company strengthened its equity position, which rose to EUR 197.1 million, boosting the equity ratio to 33.2%. Key investments included a complete modernization of the Losheim am See site in Germany and preparations for a new plant in Lithuania, which started operations in early 2025.

As part of its global expansion, Homann plans to enter the U.S. market with a future site in the Southeast. Sustainability also advanced, with reporting aligned to CSRD and EU Taxonomy standards.

Looking to 2025, Homann expects moderate revenue growth and stable EBITDA, supported by efficiency gains, though the Lithuanian plant is not yet expected to contribute to earnings.
