SPAIN – Garnica, a global leader in sustainable plywood production, has announced the opening of its first U.S. office in Raleigh, North Carolina, marking a major step in its North American expansion.

The new location also supports Garnica’s recently launched U.S. warehouse, ExpressShip, in Savannah, Georgia—streamlining distribution and strengthening customer support across the region.

As part of this strategic move, Garnica has expanded its North American team with four key hires:

  • Hugues Paulin, Business Development Manager, overseeing Canadian sales
  • Ericka Tapia, Site Controller for the Finance Department
  • Felipe Cabrera, Inside Sales Technician
  • Fernando Núñez, Logistics Administrator

In addition, Jack Naish, a longstanding team member, has been promoted to Southeast Sales Representative.

“These additions reinforce our commitment to customer service, efficient logistics, and sustainable innovation,” said Álvaro González, CEO of Garnica. “By investing in local talent and infrastructure, we’re better positioned to meet the evolving needs of our North American customers.”

The Raleigh office will serve as a central hub for commercial operations, improving coordination between departments and ensuring clients receive premium service. Combined with ExpressShip’s strategic location, Garnica aims to significantly enhance its responsiveness and distribution capabilities in the U.S. market.

This expansion underscores Garnica’s long-term strategy to grow its footprint while maintaining its reputation for quality, innovation, and sustainability in the wood products industry.
