GERMANY – EGGER previewed new decors, surfaces and products at the Interzum 2019 trade fair in Cologne, with three products receiving an Interzum Award.

High Product Quality awards were presented to EGGER’s new worktop and surface texture introductions and a new PerfectSense Matt and duo-edging concept won Best of the Best.

The Interzum Awards focus on intelligent material and design, and this year 260 entries were submitted from 22 different countries. The judges presented 59 High Product Quality and 11 Best of the Best awards, three of which were awarded to EGGER.

EGGER exhibited its latest innovations on a 600m² stand that showed how current trends complement and contrast with each other. This demonstrated how trends are now personalized to fit in with different lifestyles and how EGGER’s latest products and decors provide flexible solutions to help achieve this.

Surfaces look and feel even more realistic with new textures ST20 Metal Brushed, ST75 Mineral Satin, ST32 Feelwood Vintage and ST19 Deepskin Excellent. These new textures are being introduced to meet new design demands. Worktop texture ST75 received one of the High Product Quality awards, praised for its smooth, velvet matt finish, which replicates a natural surface texture.

EGGER’s multi-award winning PerfectSense Collection has been extended to include new PerfectSense Topmatt 16mm edged worktops, winners of a High Product Quality award. The new PerfectSense Topmatt worktops provide an anti-fingerprint, luxurious look and feel that does not compromise on impact and scratch resistance.

Another new introduction is Duo-edging. This product features two contrasting decors, to create a stylish, eye catching and effective finish. It was presented Best of the Best for its combination of PerfectSense Matt and duo edging, thus creating a striking interplay of two products.
