GERMANY – Egger’s PerfectSense Gloss and Matt lacquered boards impressed the international jury of experts and were awarded ‘Best of the Best’ in the ‘Products – Special’ category of the Iconic Awards 2016. 

The award ceremony was held on the 4th of October 2016 at the BMW Welt in Munich as part of the Expo Real.

The Iconic Awards is an independent and international architecture and design competition that recognizes interior and product design, among other categories. An independent jury of experts made up of architects, designers, and brand experts selects the recipients.

Extremely happy with the award, Michael Egger Jr., Product Management Furniture and Interior Design, and Andre Wiegelmann, Head of Production PerfectSense, accepted the accolade on the 4th of October 2016 in Munich. “We always expect to bring to the market innovative and high quality products. PerfectSense is the perfect symbiosis of look and feel. The award proves once again that we are on the right path with our extremely high quality standards,” says Michael Egger Jr., welcoming the award.

Following the “Special Mention” of the German Design Awards 2016, this is the second award won by the wood-based materials manufacturer for its product innovation PerfectSense.
