GERMANY – From 21 to 24 May 2019, EGGER will present their product, decor, and surface novelties to an international audience at the world’s leading trade fair Interzum in Cologne.

831EGGE1 Visitors to the 600m² exhibition stand (hall 6.1, stand A70) will gain insight into its trend motto “MORE+less”. It includes themes that at first glance do not seem to work when combined – but a second glance are worth it.

“How we live and how we organize ourselves is less and less determined by only one trend, and more by individually interpreting single trends, influences, and materials,” explains Klaus Monhoff, Head of Decor and Design Management at EGGER. “Materials for furniture design must be options of alternatives that allow the customer to identify own key elements in their individual “MORE+less”. With our trend themes, we show at Interzum examples of optional connections”, continues Monhoff.

Among other things, EGGER will show the highlights of their PerfectSense Gloss and Matt lacquered boards and PP edging in digital print quality and respond to the trend of thin materials with worktops in new versions and with new surfaces.

The newly developed textures on show include: The lively ST32 Feelwood Vintage, a new entry into the family of synchronized pore surfaces, that displays a rustic old wood surface; the ST20 Metal Brushed, inspired by metal with a finely brushed look and feel; and the ST75 Mineral Satin, developed especially for material reproductions on worktops. “This new introduction already received great feedback at the in-house exhibition EGGERZUM in February 2019 from our customers in the furniture industry. At Interzum we will now present for the first time the expansion of our product range to an international professional audience”, says Hubert Höglauer, EGGER’s Head of Marketing and Product Management Furniture and Interior Design.

This year EGGER will also participate in Interzum’s themed areas. The company will provide materials for the fitting of the piazza “Trends in Surfaces & Wood Design” in hall 6 and in the “Digitalization” space of Hall 3.2, the company will present its EGGER inside service. Furthermore, in the “Speakers Corner” (Passage 4/5) Michaela Gimpl and Stefanie Könemann of EGGER’s Decor and Design Management team will speak about “MORE+less – is synchronicity an option?”
