The new press will be installed at Egger’s plant in St. Johann, Austria in order to expand its particleboard production.
The press is based on the innovative KT 700 concept that guarantees maximum efficiency, high pressure and sophisticated products with short pressing and charging times. The special characteristics of the KT 700 are its multi-piston design and the new cylinder design.

This high-end version of a Siempelkamp short-cycle press isn’t new for Egger as the Company is already operating a KT-700 at its Rambervillers location in France. The start-up is scheduled for the beginning of 2014.
