Duratex is among the 150 largest companies in the Valor 1000 ranking

BRAZIL – Duratex receives another recognition, reaffirming its prominent position in the market: its participation in the Valor 1000 ranking, which features the largest companies in Brazil.

The annual survey is promoted by Valor Econômico and considers aspects such as net revenue, EBITDA, and profit for the year.

The company was considered one of the three most relevant to the Brazilian economy in its sector, ‘Construction Materials and Decoration’ and rose 15 positions in the ranking compared to 2018.

The restructuring of operations and the consolidation process as a multi-business company were highlighted in a newspaper report.

Duratex is one of the top 10 wood panel manufacturers in the world and the one with the largest operations in the Southern Hemisphere with plants in Brazil and Colombia.

 Duratex, Brazil’s largest panel manufacturer, reported consolidated sales for the third quarter 2019 (3Q-2019) of BRL 1,308.4 million, a 13.5 percent drop compared to the same period 2018.
