BRAZIL – Dexco, Brazil’s largest wooden panel manufacturer, reported BRL 2.13 billion in sales for 3Q-2025, down 5.0% year-on-year, reflecting a weaker market environment and lower volumes.
The Wood Division, the company’s main business, recorded BRL 1.41 billion, a 3.1% decline from 3Q-2024.
Adjusted EBITDA reached BRL 445 million, down 3.2%, while the EBITDA margin improved slightly to 20.9% from 20.5% a year earlier. The quarter ended with a net loss of BRL 42.8 million, compared with a profit of BRL 183.5 million in 3Q-2024.
For the first nine months of 2025 (9M-2025), Dexco’s consolidated sales totaled BRL 6.15 billion, virtually stable compared to the same period in 2024 (-0.3%). The Wood Division grew 2.7%, reaching BRL 4.13 billion, offsetting declines in other business segments.
EBITDA for the period was BRL 1.23 billion, down 3.5%, with a margin of 20.0% (-0.7 p.p.). Net profit stood at BRL 71 million, a 75.1% decrease from the previous year.
In terms of volume, Dexco shipped 2.27 million m³ of panels from January to September, down 3.3% year-on-year. Standard panels rose 4.3%, while laminated panels dropped 11.4%, reflecting a shift in demand dynamics.
