Dexco Publishes 2024 Results

BRAZIL – Dexco, the largest wood panel manufacturer in Brazil, reported a 5.9% increase in consolidated revenue for 4Q- 2024, reaching BRL 2,064.2 million.

This growth was driven by strong performance in the Metals and Sanitary Ware division, benefiting from a richer product mix and operational improvements. The Wood division also maintained solid demand, contributing positively to the results.

For the full year 2024, net revenue grew 11.5% to BRL 8,234.6 million, supported by operational enhancements and forestry transactions in the first and third quarters. However, adjusted EBITDA for Q4 declined 8.1% year-over-year to BRL 371.8 million, with a margin of 18.0%. For the full year, EBITDA reached BRL 1,649.8 million, marking an 18.4% increase, driven by strong wood panel demand and the recovery of the Metals and Ceramics division.

Dexco’s recurring net income in the 4Q-2024  stood at BRL -4.3 million, while full-year recurring net income dropped 26.1% to BRL 274.1 million.

During the quarter, the company increased its investment in reforestation and maintenance, with Capex reaching BRL 295.0 million, up 19.6% from the same period in 2023. For the full year, total investment rose 54.6% to BRL 569.4 million, ensuring a stable supply of raw materials amid market constraints.

In the Wood division, 4Q-2024 sales volume remained steady at 731.7k m³ but with an improved product mix. For the full year, sales grew 13.6% to 3,074.1k m³, driven by strong demand in the furniture and retail sectors. Net revenue in the segment increased 2.2% in the 4Q-2024 to BRL 1,326.3 million, while full-year revenue rose 10.8% to BRL 5,350.9 million, supported by a richer product mix and price adjustments in the second half of the year.
