EBITDA for April–June fell 7.5% to USD 383.1 million, while net profit dropped 59.5% to USD 16.4 million, with an EBITDA margin of 25.1%.

In the wooden panel segment (Particleboard, MDF, and OSB), sales volume grew 6.4% in the 2Q-2025 supported by a 1.9% increase in average prices.

In the United States, the particleboard market experienced a sustained decline in demand during the first half of the quarter. Although oversupply persisted in all regions, it was more balanced than in MDF. Prices remained broadly stable, though selective discounts were applied to sustain volumes amid weaker market conditions.

In Latin America, MDF recorded slight increases in sales volume despite oversupply and ongoing pressure from low-cost imports, while particleboard demand remained firm. Brazil showed a positive trend in particleboard, accompanied by slight price increases.

For the January–June period, revenue totaled USD 3,056.1 million, down 4.2% year-on-year. Wood Products sales edged down 0.6% to USD 1,512.5 million. EBITDA fell 14.9% to USD 731.5 million, while the company recorded a USD 10.1 million net loss, compared to a USD 140.9 million profit in the first half of 2024. The EBITDA margin decreased from 26.9% to 23.9%. In the first quarter of 2025 alone, sales revenue was USD 1,531.5 million, EBITDA USD 348.3 million, net loss USD 26.5 million, and EBITDA margin 22.7%.
