Internationalization: the common goal of FIMMA Maderalia and AFEMMA

SPAIN – AFEMMA, the Association of Spanish manufacturers of machinery, tools, equipment and products for the wood industry and FIMMA Maderalia, the biennial trade fair to be held from 2 to 5 February at Feria Valencia, have further their collaboration for the internationalization of the sector.

AFEMMA, at its Annual General Meeting of June 18, addressed the need to promote the internationalization of Spanish companies in target markets included in the 2016 Promotional Plan. The Association and the fair organizers have strengthened their collaboration and determined the next edition of the fair as the main platform for the internationalization of Spanish companies of the machinery, technology and tools sector.

AFEMMA has already started the campaign to attract visitors to the event of next February at Feria Valencia with promotional activities at the Ligna fair in Hannover and will continue next semester with activities in Argentina, Algeria, Turkey, Vietnam and Russia. In this regards, the Assembly insisted on strengthening efforts in the promotion campaign of FIMMA Maderalia to ensure its success.

In addition, AFEMMA members defined priority markets for the internationalization, of the sector such as Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Colombia, Chile, Portugal and Russia. These and others markets will be part of the trade missions of international buyers to be invited to FIMMA – Maderalia, to be held from 2 to 5 next February in Valencia, Spain.
