Famoc Depanel leads the 2019 ranking of Colombian furniture manufacturers

COLOMBIA – For the third consecutive year in 2019, the manufacturer of office and institutional furniture Famoc Depanel ranked first, according to sales, among Colombian furniture manufacturers.

893COLOMBIA1The company, with manufacturing headquarters in the municipality of Madrid, Cundinamarca, about 20 kilometers from Bogotá, recorded sales of COP 109.9 billion, a growth of 27.2 percent compared to sales of COP 86.4 billion achieved in 2018, when it also led the sales ranking.

In second place came  RTA Muebles, which totaled sales of COP 98.1 billion in 2019, a growth of 15.5 percent compared to 2018 (COP 85.0 billion). The third position was for Maderkit with sales of COP 68.2 billion, followed by Industrias Dofi and Solinoff, with sales of COP 65.4 billion and COP 63.7 billion respectively. It is worth highlighting the performance of modular furniture manufacturer Industrias Dofi, which presented the highest growth in sales in 2019 (+27.9 percent).

In 2019, among the leading manufacturers were eight manufacturers of office furniture – Famoc, Solinoff, Carvajal, Moderline, Muma, Metals JEP and Servex – whose consolidated sales reached COP 360.2 billion, a slight improvement of 4.4 percent compared to 2018 (COP 345.0 billion). The ranking of the main manufacturers is completed with five manufacturers of modular furniture – RTA Furniture, Maderkit, Dofi, Inval and Moduart – whose consolidated sales reached COP 299.9 billion, representing an improvement of 13.6 percent compared to 2018 (COP 264.0 billion).
