CHILE – Last November operations began at Egger’s first sales office and showroom in South America. The office, located in Santiago, Chile, was formally inaugurated last November 12, 2013 with an event attended by guests, the sales team in Chile, and also by Mr. Michael Egger (CEO of Egger Group), Ulrich Bühler (Group Management Sales/Marketing) and Georg Prager (Head of Sales/Marketing Overseas).

The inaugural event was divided into two sessions. The morning session was attended by Chilean DIY customers. The second held in the afternoon, welcomed Egger’s distributors and industrial customers of Chile, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.

After a presentation of the EGGER Group and information about the new sales office and showroom called “EGGER Productos de Madera Ltda.”, the concept of the showroom was explained and customers were encouraged to bring their clients to the showroom, as this space should be used for consultations and meetings. The distributors/industry customers also had a tour of Muebles SilcoSil’s factory and Pro Rack’s distribution center (customers of EGGER).
