Century Plyboards Produces First Board on new MDF Plant

INDIA – Century Plyboards (India) Ltd. (CPIL) has partnered with Siempelkamp to establish its largest MDF facility in Andhra Pradesh, with a daily production capacity of 950 m³.

Siempelkamp supplied essential equipment for the facility, including a fiber dryer, a screening system, a forming line with advanced mat area weight control and a ContiRoll Generation 9 press (8′ x 33.8 m). The ContiRoll press produces boards from 1.5 mm to 37 mm thick at speeds up to 1,800 mm/s, with densities from 650 to 1,100 kg/m³.

Siempelkamp’s Prod-IQ technology enables CPIL to monitor and analyze production processes, improving board quality and efficiency.
