GERMANY – The Homag Group is investing in its Schopfloch site. Investments for the extension of a building to further increase the production area and for new parking spaces will reach around € 2.5 million this year. Further investments are due to follow.

PORTUGAL – Sonae Arauco S.A., is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of wood-based materials with operations in Europe, Canada, South America, and South Africa, ordered a Siempelkamp production line for its Mangualde, Portugal site.

GERMANY – According to the figures presented at the recent Ligna trade fair press conference, the Weinig Group announced extremely positive growth at the end of the 2016 financial year. Order inflow rose by 16% compared with 2015 and this gratifying trend has continued into 2017.

GERMANY – German plant manufacturer Siempelkamp has been commissioned by CalAg LLC of the US to supply a production line for fiberboards made of rice husks. Calplant LCC is investing EUR 315 million in the new production facility in Willows, California.

GERMANY – Vietnam-based Thien Lam Dat JSC and Dieffenbacher sealed the deal for a complete MDF plant in Bac Giang, about 50 km east of Hanoi. The core of the plant will be the CPS+ press system.
