ITALY – The seventieth anniversary of the Scm Group, global leader in machining technologies for an extensive range of materials and industrial components.

VIETNAM – The Vietnamese Mekong Wood MDF Joint Stock Company ordered a complete MDF plant from Siempelkamp. With this project, the company, which is well-established in the wood-based materials industry, is entering panel production, which will primarily be fed with the local raw materials acacia and eucalyptus.

GERMANY – Altendorf‘s safety assistance system “Hand Guard” was recognized with the “GS” seal by the German association for the trade in wood and metal (Bghm) which recognizes the high standards safety standard.

ITALY – The Biesse Group, a global leader in wood processing machinery and technology, reported results achieved in the first 3 months of 2022 (1Q-2022). Consolidated net sales reached EUR 196.6 million and increase of 21.8% compared to the 1Q-2021(EUR 161.4 million).

ALEMANIA – In the first three months of 2022 (1Q-2022), the Homag Group’s order intake increased by 30.4% to EUR 574 million (1Q-2021: EUR 440 million), thus reaching a new quarterly record.

FINLAND – The Board of Directors of Raute has appointed Petri Strengell as the company’s interim President and CEO effective 1 May 2022.

NORWAY – Compusoft + 2020 has announced the appointment of Joerg Jung to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the recently-merged company.

FINLAND – Three months into 2022, Raute has already sold three units of Plywood Lay-up Line R3.
