ITALY – The 28th edition of Xylexpo, the biennial international exhibition of woodworking and furniture technology, is moving back to May.

BRAZIL – The value of Brazilian particleboard exports (PB / MDP) reached USD 41.44 million in the first six months of 2023 (6M-2023).

PANAMA – The value of Panama’s wood furniture imports in the first 5 months of 2023 (5M-2023) fell 5.6 percent from USD 20.46 million in 5M-2022 to USD 19.32 million in 5M-2023.

CHILE – The value of Chilean plywood exports in the first four months of 2023 (4M-2023) was USD 129.61 million.

ECUADOR – The value of Ecuadorian particleboard exports (PB/MDP) in May 2023 was USD 16.96 million, representing an improvement of 12.9 percent compared to the same month of 2022 (USD 15.01 million).

GERMANY – Industrial robots in Europe are on the rise: The European Union´s (EU) 27 member states installed almost 72,000 units in 2022 – up 6% year-on-year.  According to preliminary results, presented by the International Federation of Robotics (IFR).
