COLOMBIA – In the period January – July 2021 (7M-2021), Colombia exported wooden furniture for USD 26.34 million, representing a sharp improvement of 57.6 percent compared to the same period last year, when wooden furniture exports reached USD 16.71 million.

USA – Herman Miller announced that, after completing the acquisition of Knoll, Inc., on July 19, 2021, the combined company will now operate as MillerKnoll.

MÉXICO – One year after the opening of its Monterrey, Mexico factory, leather upholstery producer Kuka Home has completed a major expansion that will increase production by more than 45%.

COLOMBIA – RTA Muebles sales reached COP 124.8 billion in 2020, compared to sales of 98.1 billion in 2019. The above represented an increase of 27.2% and allowed RTA Muebles to surpass Famoc de Panel as the main Colombian furniture manufacturer in 2020.
