USA – American Woodmark Corporation, one of the largest kitchen cabinet manufacturers in North America, will increase its  kitchen and bath cabinet capacity for east coast markets.

USA – Fortune Brands announced that it has completed its previously announced spin-off of the Cabinets business creating two independent, publicly traded companies.

CANADA – Groupe Miralis recently announced a total investment of CAD 45 million (USD 33 million) for the start-up of two new high automation manufacturing plants, one in Saint-Anaclet-de-Lessard (near Rimouski) and another in Québec City.

USA – Steves & Sons, a high volume and family-owned door manufacturer, will invest over USD 100 million and create 170 jobs over the next three years as it builds a new, state-of-the-art facility in Jackson County, Georgia.

SWEDEN – Pervanovo, the parent company of Bjelin industries in Croatia and Välinge Group in Sweden, has through its subsidiary Välinge Croatia signed an agreement to acquire 85% of the shares in the Croatian furniture company Spin Valis.

SWEDEN – Nobia, one of the largest Kitchen furniture manufacturers in Europe, is building a unique production facility of more than 123 000 square metres, which is to become Europe’s most modern kitchen factory.

USA – American Woodmark Corporation will increase its stock kitchen and bath cabinet capacity for east coast markets.

USA – Cabinetworks Group, the country’s largest independently owned manufacturer and distributor of kitchen and bath cabinetry, announced, in collaboration with the State of Pennsylvania, a plan to expand its Mount Union facility in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.

POLAND – Unilin Technologies announced that furniture producer Intermeble has signed a license agreement for their click furniture technology.

USA – KCMA (Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association) regrets to announce that during its recent board meeting, American Woodmark, MasterBrand Cabinets and Cabinetworks Group notified KCMA leadership of their resignation from the association. 

EE.UU. – Steelcase Inc., one of the largest office furniture manufacturers, informed that it plans to cut back its spending and will cut 180  jobs amid declining orders, inflation and  and supply chain challenges.
