DENMARK (Notifix).- Sales to markets in the Far East accounts for approx. 15 percent of the furniture company BoConcept’s revenue, the Danish newspaper Borsen writes. But according to the group’s regional director for the Far East, Kim Molholm, there is a basis to expand the current network of approx. 50 stores in the region to at least triple in the coming years.

UK (Notifix).- On June 17th kitchen manufacturer Howdens Joinery Co. and the Biesse Group celebrated with a special event at its headquarters in Runcorn (England) the successful conclusion of the €12.2 million order concerning two plants for the production of 220 cabinet / hour.
BRAZIL (Notifix).- Four member companies of Orchestra Brasil, a project to encourage exports, are preparing to receive a visit from eight foreign importers during the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013.
COLOMBIA (Notifix).- The Colombian manufacturer of ready to assemble furniture, RTA Design, was certified on June 12 by the Rainforest Alliance with the FSC Chain of Custody.
PERU (Notifix).- Peru’s imports of neighboring Colombian RTA furniture reached USD 801.285 in 1Q-2013. Maintaining its leading position as Colombia’s main RTA furniture destination.
BRAZIL (Notifix).- Orchestra Brazil, a project that encourages exports supported by the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brazil), presented its new strategic plan to its member companies with guidelines for the next five years.
