Germany – According to industry news portal EUWID the German Nolte Goup intends to sell the Group’s RTA furniture producer, CS Schmalmöbel. The sales process began in the fourth quarter of 2015.
US home furniture market to grow 5.8% annually in 2016 – 2020
U.S. – A new report by Research and Markets, “Home Furniture Market in the U.S. 2016-2020,” predicts that the U.S. home furniture market will grow with a CAGR of 5.8% during the 2016-2020 period.
Nobia assumes accounting errors of its Poggenpohl US subsidiary
SWEDEN – In the fourth quarter of 2015, Nobia will report a cost item of SEK 96 million (USD 11.2 million) that is non- recurring, attributable to impairments in Poggenpohl. The cost item is not affecting the cash flow.
Häcker Kitchens reports 15 percent sales increase in 2015
GERMANY – 2015 was an extremely successful business year for Häcker Kitchens. The Rödinghausen-based company’s gross sales rose to 466 million euros in 2015 (2014: 406 million euros). In total, 183,000 kitchens were produced by 1,337 employees last year – and sold all over the world.
Growth drives Tvilum to manufacture in Poland
