BRAZIL – Brazilian furniture producer, Ditália, presented at the recent Movelsul furniture show in Bento Gonçalves, RS a sideboard and TV table from its new product range featuring Threespine® assembly technology.

COLOMBIA – Colchones Paraíso, specializing in solutions for rest and sleep segment, announced the acquisition of Muebles & Accesorios, manufacturer and retail of home furniture.

SPAIN – According to ANIEME, during 2017 exports of Spanish furniture exceeded EUR 2,113 million, a 2.4% increase compared to furniture exports registered in 2016.

EUROPE – Nobilia, the largest European kitchen furniture manufacturer, increased its sales last year by 3.4% to € 1.126 billion.

U.S. –Furniture manufacturer Haworth, Inc. announced 2017 global sales of USD 2.04 billion, a 5.3% increase from 2016 that was fueled by growth in every region of the world.

DENMARK –Tvilum, one of the largest global RTA furniture manufacturers, filed for bankruptcy on February 2 ceasing production in its plants in Farvang and Kjellerup, Denmark.
