COLOMBIA –  In the first five months of 2020 (5M-2020) Colombia exported wooden furniture for USD 11.02 million, a sharp  drop  of 33.9%% compared to the same period of the previous year.

U.S.  – According to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association’s (KCMA) monthly Trend of Business Survey, participating cabinet manufacturers reported a significant decrease in consolidated cabinet sales of 22% for April 2020 compared to the same month in 2019.

USA – American Woodmark Corporation, a leading supplier of cabinetry to the new construction and remodeling industries, announced today that operations at its component plants in Mexico have been suspended through April 30, 2020.

GERMANY – The kitchen furniture manufacturer Poggenpohl Möbelwerke GmbH, which has belonged to the Adcuram Group since the end of January 2017, applied to the district court in Bielefeld for the opening of insolvency proceedings on April 24.
