BRAZIL – On Monday, August 22, registration opened for the 21st Salão Design Award, the major product design award in Latin America. This edition of the competition brings important changes in the regulation of the award, including five new categories in the traditional segments: Student, Professional and Industry. In addition to cash prizes, the regulation contains the Master Teacher Trophy and the Alternative Woods Award.
ARGENTINA – The tenth edition of the Argentine International Furniture Fair, FIMAR 2016, held for the first time in Buenos Aires from 17 to 20 August parallel to the 33rd Expo Present, generated a satisfactory business flow and drew more than 22,000 visitors to the La Rural fair grounds.
