GERMANY – As it has become a much-expected yearly event in the woodworking industry, Interprint is presenting its new decor collection: the Six Pack 2018.

BRAZIL – The Salão Design Award, one of the most important product design awards in Latin America, is now entering its final judging phase, with the announcement of the projects chosen by the judging committee for the second phase.

SPAIN – Conexión by Finsa, the exhibition that covers the life cycle of wood and reflects on how it connects with us, has been awarded the Emporia Selection for the best assembly of an ephemeral transportable and itinerant exhibition.

EUROPE – Formica presented TrueScale, its new line of large scale laminates, that captures the subtle variations and patterns found in natural materials but eliminates the high costs of sourcing and maintaining the genuine article.

BRAZIL – After the registration period for the 2018 Salão Design Award ended on Monday, October 2, the award organizers announced the names of the judging panel of this special edition, which marks the 30th anniversary of the competition held by the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis).

UNITED KINGDOM – Finsa participated for the first time as an exhibitor at the London Design Fair, an event that in its fifteenth anniversary placed the capital of the United Kingdom as the epicenter of interior design and architecture.

GERMANY – Under the “Fascin[action] – Fascinated by solutions” banner, preparations are in full swing for one of the world’s biggest design awards for students: the International Design Award 2018 which looks for innovative ideas and visions in the fields of furniture design and furniture making. The International Design Award is organised by two leading companies from the supplier industry, Hettich and Rehau.

GERMANY – The ‘transform’ Décor Book, which was produced for the 10th Interprint Furniture Days has received one of the most important design awards, the Red Dot Award 2017 in the ‘Communication Design’ discipline.

ARGENTINA – From September 28 to October 1 at the Córdoba Trade Fair Complex, EstiloCASA will open its doors. This habitat tradeshow is aimed at an expert audience of which about ten thousand attendees are expected.

BRAZIL – The second edition of HIGH DESIGN – Home & Office Expo took place from August 8 -10, at São Paulo Expo as an anchor event of the DW! São Paulo Design Weekend.

ARGENTINA – The 12th edition of the International Furniture Fair (FIMAR) held in Buenos Aires from August 23 to 26, recognized the sector’s trend setters and their products, for their outstanding design, creativity and innovation.
