ESPAÑA –  This is a landmark year for Valencia, with the city celebrating its designation as World Design Capital 2022.

GERMANY – GERMANY – The new Decor Selection 2022 from Schattdecor reflects the trends and surface designs that are currently in high demand worldwide and also have the potential to become international bestsellers.

ALEMANIA –  Two product developments from Hettich have received the renowned iF Design Award this year.

BRAZIL – The Perspectives MDF collection, the result of a collaboration between Schattdecor and the panel manufacturer Guararapes, was awarded the iF Design Awards 2022, the world’s leading Design award.

GERMANY – Dutch bathroom furniture manufacturer Primabad B.V. was looking for an aesthetically appealing and practical solution for barrier-free washroom facilities – and found it in cooperation with fittings manufacturer Hettich: the latest “Move” bathroom range conveniently raises the washbasin to any chosen height at the press of a button.

GERMANY – After the Rehau´s Furniture Solutions division received three prizes at this year’s German Design Award, the next award comes shortly before the end of the year: The Edelmatt collection also impressed the jury of the ICONIC AWARDS: Innovative Interior, which were also launched by the German Design Council – and the shed light on another aspect of excellent design, with a focus on architectural solutions.

BRAZIL – Once the technical and functional evaluation of the 562 projects enrolled in the Salão Design 2022 Award is finished, the organization is already computing the jury’s considerations to define the finalists in each of the five segments of this edition.

GERMANY – The trend away from high-gloss surfaces and towards elegant, matt designs is sweeping through the entire furniture industry.

SPAIN – The renowned A’ Design Award is an award which recognizes internationally outstanding furniture design.

GERMANY – No fewer than two newly developed products from Hettich have attracted the prestigious iF Design Award this year: in the “Kitchen” category, the jury awarded prizes to the slimline AvoriTech drawer system and the Quadro runner for dishwashers.

GERMANY – The exclusive, deeply embossed wood-based finishing “Cosmos” from Sonae Arauco sets new standards. This was also the opinion of the jury of the German Design Council, who selected the texture as “Winner” of ICONIC AWARD 2021: Innovative Interior.

U.S. – Pantone, the global color authority and provider of professional color language standards and digital solutions for the design community, announced PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray and PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating, as the Pantone® Color of the Year selection for 2021.
