EUROPE – Formica Group Europe, manufacturer of interior surfacing solutions and the original inventor of Formica® laminate, launches a pan-European design competition and calls design students in the UK to enter and submit their concept.

SPAIN – From September 29th to October 1st in Barcelona’s Arpa Design Centre will take place the event Trends&Senses, a workshops that brings together experts from the world of design and habitat with architects, interior designers, manufacturers and distributors related to the sector.

BRAZIL – More than 10,000 people participated in the 1st Art Design Village, one of the main addresses of São Paulo Design Weekend 2015 that took place from 12-16 August. 

CHILE – Wood Week 2015, held from August 26 through 30 was held at the Mopocho Station Cultural Center of Santiago. Organized by the Chilean Wood Corporation (CORMA), the event brought together about 8,000 people, including architects, builders, engineers and designers. 

U.S. – Häfele America Co., a leading global supplier of furniture and architectural hardware components, is announcing the introduction of their newly redesigned website, Häfele.com/US. 

GERMANY – The Spanish décor printer Decotec presented its new collection: Lifestyles – Decor Trends, during the prestigious Interzum fair of last May in Cologne, Germany. 

GERMANY – This year’s International Design Award (IDA), to commemorate its tenth edition, awarded prizes in two new categories: Company Prize and Public Voting. 

FRANCE – The Muuuz International Awards recognised the innovative and remarkable properties of Formica Group’s custom laminate service, Younique®, which gives specifiers the freedom they need to take their ideas to the next level.

COLOMBIA – During a five week tour that covered 12 cities, Colombian board manufacturer Tablemac presented its new Anthology Collection 2015 to the industry.

BRAZIL – Brazilian board manufacturer Berneck is participating in the 2015 edition of Casa Cor Paraná.
