BRAZIL – The Artefacto Exhibition, celebrating 40 years, chose as the theme for 2016: “The most desired destinations in the world.” 

BRAZIL – Impress Decor Brazil, supplier of decorative papers was present at the Sao Paulo ForMóbile trade fair during the last week of July where it presented its new collection.

BRAZIL – During the 7th International Suppliers Fair for the Furniture Industry (ForMóbile) to be held in Sao Paulo (SP) from July 26 – 29, Impress Decor Brasil will officially launch its new collection and concept.

SWEDEN – The Ikea Museum is set to open to the public on June 30. Housed in what was once the very first IKEA store in Älmhult, Sweden, which opened in 1958, the museum has a total area of 7,000 m2, including approx. 3,500 m2 of exhibition area, a restaurant that seats 170 patrons and a 250 m2 store.

ITALY – The Tortona Design Week in Milan from April 12th to the 15th was the stage chosen by Germany’s Impress Group to presented its new design concept and 2016 collection. 

U.S. – A first-of-its-kind alliance, the ELEVATE Design Collective, was announced on April 6th to bring together six industry-leading home design brands Delta  Faucet Company, Formica Corporation, Hunter Fan, JELD-WEN^®, KitchenAid^® and Schlage^®, to highlight home accents within home style and interior design conversations. 

ITALY – With an unprecedented 372,151 total attendees, up 4% since the 2014 edition – when the biennial Kitchen and Bathroom exhibitions last took place – the 55th edition of the Salone del Mobile Milano drew has drawn to a close on April 17th. Just on Saturday and Sunday, when the fair was open to the general public, 41,372 people visited the 2,407 exhibitors. 

ARGENTINA – The new website developed by Sadepan Latinoamericana is the spearhead of a comprehensive communication strategy of the Argentine board manufacturer that also includes a new blog aimed at the world of design and a Facebook page.

GERMANY – With its Decor Selection 2016, Schattdecor is presenting a selection of global decor highlights that have the potential to be the best sellers of tomorrow. 

GERMANY – AvanTech, the Premium drawer system by Hettich was recognized for its superb design quality with the Red Dot Award. In the 2016 edition of the award, the 41 members of the jury rated a record number of 5,214 products from 57 nations.
