AUSTRIA – The Egger Group, one of the largest global wooden panel manufacturers, continues its growth course and takes over the Rauch plant in Markt Bibart, Germany. The purchase agreement was signed on 8 September 2023.

NEW ZEALAND – Fletcher Building Ltd., based in New Zealand, has placed an order with the German machinery manufacturer Dieffenbacher for a plant dedicated to the production of Fine OSB.

BRAZIL – Eucatex, one of the main wooden panel manufacturers in brasil, reported that Sales revenue in 2Q-2023 reached BRL 651.3 million, compared to BRL 600.9 million in 2Q-2022, up 8.4%.

BRAZIL – Dexco, the largest wooden panel manufacturer in Brazil, reported sales revenue of BRL 1,953.8 million in the 2Q-2023, a drop of 11.7% versus 2Q-2022. For the semester (6M-2023), Sales Revenue was BRL 3,665.8 million, down 15.6% compared to same period 2022 (6M-2022: 4,344.6 million).
