AUSTRIA – Julius Blum GmbH, a leading Austrian manufacturer of high-quality kitchen and furniture hardware, has published its first sustainability report for the 2022/2023 fiscal year.

In anticipation of the upcoming mandatory reporting requirements that will come into effect from fiscal year 2025, Julius Blum GmbH has taken the initiative to publish this sustainability report, which highlights the achievements made and areas requiring further action.

Among the achievements highlighted are a recycling rate of approximately 96% for the total volume of waste and the procurement of almost 80% of its energy from renewable sources. Blum, committed to sustainability since obtaining ISO 14001 certification in 1997, underscores its dedication to climate and environmental protection through initiatives aimed at reducing energy consumption and emissions, promoting responsible materials management, and fostering positive relations with its employees and society.
