GERMANY – Leicht Kuchen AG one of the top German Kitchen manufacturers based in Waldstetten will invest in the construction of a highly automated new plant near its existing plant.

The new plant will be built by the summer of 2020.

On an area of 80,000 m² a highly efficient production plant – according to lot size 1 principle – is to be realized in a complex of 40,000 m², the company informed. According to Leicht, the investment sum will be over EUR 40 million.

In 2016 Leicht turnover was EUR 124 million, of which 60 per cent is attributable to exports. In the last 14 months, 100 employees have been recruited. Altogether, there are now over 600 employees.
