ITALY – In the first six months of 2017 the Biesse Group’s sales amounted to EUR 331.2 million, up 16.9%, compared to the same prior-year period when they reached EUR 283.4 million.

EBITDA reached EUR 40.8 million a 34.2% increase compared with the same period 2016, representing a margin on revenues of 12.3%. Net profit for the first half 2017 of EUR 17.5 million rose 47.1% compared with the same period of 2016.

Following the Board meeting, Mr Stefano Porcellini, Director General of the Group commented: “The positive momentum for Biesse is continuing having a significant organic growth in revenues (+16.9% in the first semester 2017) with a consequent increase in the market shares of all its business divisions.”

The outlook for the second half of the year is very positive an started with excellent results at the most recent fair in Las Vegas (AWFS 19-22 July) where it received orders totaling over EUR 15 million.
