U.S. (Notifix.) – From July 1st Furniture Today Media Group and its associated publications, print and online, Casual Living, Gifts and Decorative Accessories, Home Accents Today, Home Textiles Today, Kids Today and Playthings, are now part of FT Holdings LLC, a newly formed private company created to make acquisitions and investments in specialized media.

Furniture Today is the leading publication in the furniture industry in the U.S. market. Founded in 1976 it publishes a weekly newspaper in the U.S., and its digital version receives about 185,000 unique visitors per month. Furniture Today also publishes a Chinese edition and 12 market dailies a year.

Under the new management Furniture Today Media Group will be renamed Progressive Business Media. Its offices will remain in Greensboro, North Carolina, where it is headquartered, and in New York City. Kevin Castellani, who has overseen Furniture Today and its associated brands since 1993, will continue with the new company as president of Progressive Business Media and editor of Furniture Today.
