U.S. – The SCM Group will bring its innovative Lean Robot Cell 4.0, new technologies and two new software programs to the AWFS trade fair to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada from July 19 to 22.
In addition to the Lean Robot Cell 4.0 SCM will be presenting at its 12,600 square feet booth (1200 square meters), close to thirty technological solutions, including the new Mordibelli M100 and M200 machining centers that have been immensely successful worldwide since their release at the beginning of the year.
At the fair there will also be a special focus on the complementary services and products that allow SCM customers to improve their return on investment. In Las Vegas, Smartech and ScmConnect will also be unveiled. These two innovative software programs seek to render the group’s IT production technology even more user-friendly. Given the importance of Industry 4.0, SCM experts will also be attending the seminars given on digital innovations in the woodworking industry.
In 2016 SCM reached a turnover of 600 million euros, a 15% growth against FY 2015. In the Northern American market (the United States, Canada and Mexico) SCM ended 2016 with a solid two-figure growth. Recently SCM has made major investments to reinforce its presence in the region. In Mexico SCM expanded its branch office. In Atlanta the head offices are being remodeled and the new base in Carson, just south of Los Angeles, is now ready for operation. The Group has emphasized its direct and indirect presence growth across the USA and into Mexico, and the continuation of its ambitious expansion plan into Canada.
