In response to market demands, Sonae Arauco continues its commitment to cutting-edge solutions and invests in one of its plants in Portugal with the aim of offering a range of formaldehyde-free products, including MDF, using the best materials in its category of biorenovables. For this reason, it partners with EcoSynthetix Inc., a prestigious Canadian company specializing in biologically based products that collaborates in the application of one of the components in the manufacture of products produced by Sonae Arauco.

Beginning with a pilot launch, products at competitive cost offer the lowest possible emissions and the highest levels of renewable biocomponents, which are increasingly demanded by the market.

The innovative technology provided by the new partner EcoSynthetix Inc. is being introduced in different types of panels of the portfolio of Sonae Arauco.
