MEXICO – Next year forth Magna ExpoMueblera will be split in two events: Magna ExpoMueblera Industrial and Magna ExpoMueblera Mobiliario e Interiores.
The ExpoMueblera’s new management, German trade fair company Deutsche Messe AG, represented by its local subsidiary Hannover Fairs México, took the decision.
“Following close dialogue with our exhibitors, we have decided to split Magna ExpoMueblera into two trade fairs. This will enable us to focus more fully on each of the two really rather distinct theme strands involved,” explained Christian Pfeiffer Deutsche Messe’s Global Director LIGNA and Woodworking Events. Thus, from 2018 on, Deutsche Messe will stage Magna ExpoMueblera Industrial as an annual show focusing on machinery, applications, materials, equipment and solutions for forestry, wood processing and furniture manufacturing. The first show will run from 17 to 20 January 2018. Also starting in 2018, the company will run Magna ExpoMueblera Mobiliario e Interiores as an annual show specializing in furniture, cabinetry, interior design, domestic appliances and floor coverings. The first such event will be held from 6 to 9 March 2018.
Deutsche Messe has the global networks and quality contacts needed to make a success of these two new shows, thanks to its established event portfolio, which includes DOMOTEX, the world’s leading trade fair for carpets and floor coverings, and LIGNA, the world’s leading trade fair for wood industry machinery, plant and equipment. Pfeiffer: “Splitting Magna ExpoMueblera into two events will enable us to make each part even stronger.”
