COLOMBIA – Madecentro, Colombia’s largest retailer of boards and supplies for the furniture industry, has reached 105 stores nationwide. Last August, the specialized retailer announced the opening of its new store, the 105th, located in the city of Ibague, department of Tolima.
At year-end 2015, the company owned network of specialty stores for woodworking and the furniture industry, reached sales of 351,000 million pesos, 20% growth against sales of COP 280,200 million registered in 2014.
By completing 105 stores, in addition to its on-line store (http://www.madecentro.com/), Madecentro increases its position as the main supplier of wood boards and materials for furniture and cabinets industry in Colombia. For the logistics support of the Madecentro network, the company has more than 38,000 m2 of additional area, represented in distribution centers, CEDIS, and the administrative offices of Medellin.
