ROMANIA (ihb).- Romanian exports of OSB (oriented strand board) had a considerable growth in 2012. The OSB production factories launched by the Austrian companies, Kronospan in 2009 and Egger in 2011, represents the main cause for this increase.

Thereby, in 2012, Romania tripled its exports of OSB comparing to 2011 (from 150,693 cbm to 524,177 cbm), for the first time exceeding the value of 100 million euros (from €35,327,880 in 2011, to €108,512,610 in 2012).
