The main Latin countries where the franchise Gautier wants to succeed are Colombia and Mexico. As the company explained in an interview with Portfolio: “We plan to develop in Central and South America, and it seems important to go first to Colombia. Because it is a stabilized, a country with a development plan, and it is a good time to try something in Colombia. Not only are we looking to start something in Bogota, but in Medellin, Cartagena and Barranquilla. Through franchise stores.”

He added, “For us, Mexico is very interesting economically and a country where in the past we used to sell our products with other distribution methods, and we think we can come back.”

French Gautier, dedicated to the manufacture and sale of furniture, has been in the market for more than 50 years, however, only ten years back started operating through the franchise system. Today it already has 100 outlets distributed throughout the world, in countries like France, Spain, England, Dubai, Qatar, South Korea and Mongolia.
