Tektónica is Portugal’s leading construction fair, receiving an average of 40,000 visitors every year.

This year it ran from 4th to 7th May and was attended by buyers from Europe, the USA, North Africa and the Arab Emirates, among others.

Indaux, leading company in the sector of furniture fittings and parts, attended the fair for the first time with its distributor for Portugal, Fapimepe. It exhibited its system for sliding doors, Junior-6, with the INDAmatic soft-closing device; the complete range of soft-closing hinges, including the 165º opening and a wide range of drawers and runners, from the Combi drawer to the Attraction and the Ariane. In runners, the exhibition focussed on the Marc-II model, outstanding for its smooth running and closing redesigned in late 2015.

It had been around nine years since Indaux had exhibited in Portugal. The last time too it was with Fapimepe, but at the Batalha fair. Today, given that Portugal has no fairs specializing in furniture accessories, the company has decided to exhibit at Tektónica, more focussed on construction materials.

Mikel Arzallus, Commercial Manager at Indaux, positively evaluated the initiative: “The Lisbon fair was a success as far as attendees are concerned, making us aware of the signs of recovery in the Portuguese market. This was a great opportunity to renew our connections with the market in general, to strengthen the Fapimepe-Indaux relationship with a view to the market and to present the evolution in our products and their latest features. Fapimepe is undergoing a process of generational change, with a solid business plan and bags of energy for providing an excellent service, with the strong customer focus for which they’ve always been known. In this respect, we will strengthen our support of the company and work together to increase this presence, in order to be able to take our new products to the whole market”.

The Lisbon Fair is the fifth in which Indaux has participated in 2016, having previously attended Maderalia (Valencia), Zow (Germany), Wardrobe Exhibition (China) and M&M in Bogota (Colombia).
