COLOMBIA – Colombia’s largest wood panel manufacturer had a historic 2015 with sales of COP 283.5 billion, an increase of 30.2% compared with 2014 sales of COP 217.7 billion.

In 2015 Tablemac was able to increase its exports 32.5% to COP 30.2 billion (2014: COP 22.8 billion). Likewise 2015 was very profitable for Tablemac, improving its EBITDA by 66% from COP 45.3 billion in 2015 to COP 75.1 billion in 2015 and bettering its EBITDA margin by 5.7 percentage points to 26.5% (2014: 20.8%). Profit for 2015 fiscal year improved 78.8% from COP 20.5 billion in 2014 to COP 36.6 billion en 2015.

Among the most important events of the company in the year 2015 was the decision to withdraw from the Colombia Stock Exchange. Tablemac from this year hence will consolidates its results to those of its parent company, Brazil’s Duratex Group.
