PERU – The Falabella Group announced the opening on November 12 of the first Crate & Barrel store in South America. 

Located in the city of Lima, Peru, in the Jockey Plaza Mall, the store has a sales area of 2,500 m2, approximately.

Crate & Barrel is a retailer of furniture and household items, founded in 1962 in Chicago, USA known for its designs, functionality and price / quality. Currently it operates stores in the United States, Canada, Dubai, Singapore and Mexico.

The Otto Group of Hamburg, Germany, a privately held company and the second largest online retailer worldwide acquired Crate & Barrel in 1998. This joint venture with Falabella Group is in line with the company’s recently announced internalization strategy.
