Promart of Peru announces seven new stores in 2015

PERU – In an interview by Diario Gestión, Francisco de la Roza, General Manager of Promart announced the expansion plans of the home improvement retailer to complete 23 stores in the country by the end of the year.

The new openings include a store in the district of Ate in Lima, the first stand alone store of the chain, and other six new stores in provinces, of which is part of the recently inauguration in the city of Pisco. The other locations have not yet been announced but Promart’s CEO explained that the company will continue to strengthen its regional presence with openings in cities where they are currently absent.

Promart began operations in 2011 and is part of Intercorp Group, one of the main economic groups in Peru, with operations in the finance, retail and real estate services sectors. In addition to the five stores operating in Lima, Promart is present in the cities of Trujillo, Sullana, Piura, Cajamarca, Chiclayo, Huancayo, Huanuco, Pucallpa, Juliaca and Cuzco. Recently the company announced it expects to complete 30 stores in Peru by 2018.
