GERMANY – Right on time for the Interzum, Schattdecor announced an alliance it has entered in the edge band field.

In collaboration with Rehau, edge banding to go with Schattdecor’s new decors is to be developed in a simultaneous process in future and thus be promptly available to customers at Rehau. At the Interzum some of the new decors concerned were exhibited with the respective edge banding at the Schattdecor and Rehau booths.

The aim of this alliance is to optimize the matching of decors with appropriate edge band for a plus in quality and faster availability for customers. “The goal of this collaboration is to harmonize processes from decor development to edge band production, and thus provide our customers perfect service in this area as well in terms of quality and speed,” explained Roland Auer, Schattdecor Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.
