SPAIN – From October 21 to 23, Barcelona hosted a new edition of Interihotel, the leading interior design event for the hospitality sector.
The fair gathered thousands of contract professionals, interior designers, architects, and brands showcasing the latest trends in hotel and tourism space design.
Cantisa participated with its own stand, presenting its most innovative proposals for the industry under the theme “Edges that Decorate.” This collection is designed to enhance the aesthetic and distinctive value of furniture. “Everyone knows edge banding that matches the board, but at Cantisa we show how the edge can go further—becoming a decorative element that adds personality and uniqueness to each project,” the company explained.
Among the PVC and ABS decorative edges, highlights included metallic finishes, stitch-effect edges ideal for drawers and dressing rooms, industrial-style grille effects, “testa” designs that give melamine boards a solid wood look, and digitally printed edges that enable full design customization.
Visitors also showed strong interest in wood veneer edges, such as genuine OSB and cork, and end-grain veneers that provide a solid and natural appearance. Other innovations included superflexible and waterproof veneers, perfect for durable, high-resistance projects, and decorative engraved edges like the synchronized wood mosaic pattern. With its participation in Interihotel Barcelona 2025, Cantisa reaffirmed its commitment to innovation and design within the furniture and interior design sectors, proving that attention to detail truly makes a difference—even at the edge.
