MEXICO – Accoya USA has expanded its North American presence by appointing Klinai as its first direct Accoya distributor in Mexico.
This strategic milestone marks direct distribution of Accoya — the high-performance, sustainable wood known for its durability and dimensional stability — across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Klinai, a family-owned company with over 45 years of experience in woodworking, has strong relationships within the architectural and construction industries. As a leading supplier of structural and non-structural timber elements, Klinai will promote Accoya’s performance in outdoor and structural applications that demand long-lasting reliability.
Mexico’s wood construction market, valued at USD 269.6 billion in 2024 and projected to grow at a 12% annual rate, presents major opportunities for Accoya’s continued global expansion. Klinai’s strategic location also opens access to the Caribbean region.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Klinai to bring Accoya to Mexico’s dynamic market,” said Sergio Munhoz, Sales Director for Accoya USA. “Accoya’s innovative, durable, and sustainable properties make it ideal for Mexico’s climate and construction needs.”
Accoya USA, a joint venture between Accsys and Eastman Chemical Company, began operations in Kingsport, Tennessee in 2024. Together with Klinai, the company will showcase Accoya at Obra Blanca Expo, Stand 1742, in Mexico City from October 14–16, 2025.
