PHILIPPINES –  From May 7 to 9, 2026, Philippine Woodmac will take place at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Centre, alongside the Philippine Wood Expo.

The event is co-organised by the Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines (CFIP) and Pablo Publishing & Exhibition, in partnership with the Philippine Wood Producers Association (PWPA).

The exhibition will be the Philippines’ first national trade event dedicated to the wood and furniture value chain, aiming to drive innovation, sustainability and partnerships across Southeast Asia’s expanding wood processing and furniture industries.

According to industry data, the Philippine furniture and wood sectors generated USD 1.54 billion in 2024, growing at an annual rate of 20–25%. Exports reached USD 279.83 million, with a target of USD 3 billion by 2033. The industries employ more than 2.1 million people and supply key markets including the US, Japan, the EU and South Korea.

The sector is largely export-oriented and import-driven, with rising demand for timber, MDF, plywood and machinery.

The Philippine government supports the industry through its Investment Priorities Plan (IPP), offering incentives such as a four- to six-year income tax holiday, a 5% tax on gross income after the holiday, duty-free import of equipment and raw materials, and access to preferential loans.

The upcoming Philippine Woodmac will connect participants with the full value chain, from manufacturers and suppliers to exporters and agencies. It will also serve as a platform to showcase eco-solutions in the sustainable design movement, while helping participants maximise government incentives.
