ITALY – Gruppo Saviola has strengthened its industrial network through the acquisition of Tecnogarden Service, a Vimercate-based company with ten operational sites across Italy. The company now becomes part of Savionet, Saviola’s business unit dedicated to its network of service and collection centers.
The deal consolidates partnerships already established with Ecolegno Airasca, Ecolegno Milano Est, and Re Sergio Recycling, as part of a broader strategy to expand service offerings in material recovery and valorization. With this transaction, Savionet now operates 33 companies.
With nearly 30 years of expertise, Tecnogarden Service ranks among Italy’s leading companies in green waste management, transforming materials into biofilters, compost, soil improvers, and biomass for energy. It also provides forest maintenance, compost plant management, and equipment rental, while supplying post-consumer wood—vital for Saviola’s Pannello Ecologico®.
The acquisition also includes SPA (Sviluppo e Progresso Ambiente), specialized in non-hazardous waste treatment from street cleaning and excavation, and Ecomove, a waste transport company with a fleet of 10 vehicles. In total, 80 new employees will join Gruppo Saviola’s workforce.
“We are pleased to welcome such an integrated and high-level company, which will expand Savionet’s service offering and strengthen the entire Saviola system,” said Alessandro Saviola, President of the Group. “This alliance is built on shared goals: a green approach, circular economy, and sustainable management in every respect.”
Founded in 1963 in Viadana (Mantua), Gruppo Saviola is an Italian industrial leader in producing the Pannello Ecologico®, made from 100% recycled wood for the furniture sector. The group comprises five business units, 15 plants in Italy and abroad, 33 collection centers across Europe, around 2,000 employees, and revenues of EUR 807 million.
