USA – Interprint , one of the world’s leading decor printers, has finalized a USD 22 million, 57,000-square-foot expansion of its Pittsfield, Massachusetts plant, boosting production capacity by 30% with the installation of two new state-of-the-art Jagenberg printing presses.

The twin 1.52-meter-wide presses, capable of speeds up to 250 meters per minute, feature near-infrared drying systems and support a wide range of substrates for decorative overlays used in flooring, furniture, and other products. Both are powered entirely by electricity, underscoring Interprint’s commitment to sustainable production.

“This expansion ensures we have the capacities to stay ahead of customer needs while maintaining the quality and service we’re known for,” said Manoj Vengalil, CEO of Interprint USA.

The investment coincides with the company’s 40th anniversary in the United States and strengthens its legacy of innovation. Headquartered in Arnsberg, Germany, Interprint has been part of Japan’s Toppan Group since 2019 and operates nine production sites worldwide.
